Human Resources met the goal of initiating a verbal offer to the final candidate within 1 business day of completing reference checks 100% of the time during each of the four reporting periods. Once reference checks are completed and a hiring decision has been made, the department prioritizes extending a verbal offer within one business day whenever practicable. Consistently meeting this measure helps maintain recruitment momentum, supports a positive candidate experience, and reduces the likelihood of losing qualified candidates during the hiring process.

The department will continue extending verbal offers promptly after completing reference checks and making a hiring decision to maintain recruitment momentum and support timely hiring decisions.
